I know I'm a new member and all, but I'd really like it if we could have a domestic cat roleplay thread in here where the cats we roleplay as venture around the different areas. Heres some basic information about it:
Basic story line: All cats know each other in the Houseplace, doesn't matter who you are or what you are, all are accepted. Some groups of strays have formed over the years the Houseplace has been in existence; some live in the forest beyond the borders, some in the alleyways. One group of strays has been starting trouble with other groups, plus some housecats, disrupting the peace. They call themselves the Stained. They threaten to take over the entire Houseplace. Some housecats and strays have formed a secret group, nameless and leaderless... for now. They plan to disband the Stained, but first, they need more members. Its up to them to find the right members and not die, really.
Characters: Domestic cats only, but any breed of domestics
Ranks (both the groups, if you guys wanna control the Stained)
Leader: the cat that controls the group, can have a mate, but the mate does not control the group, only the leader. They can fight if needed.
Deputy: the second in command, can have a mate, but the same as the leader. They can fight if needed.
Healer: the cat who heals the injured cats, depends on the leader if they can have a mate. They cannot fight, only heal.
Warriors: the cats who are best skilled in fighting; they protect their group. They also go on patrols, just checking out their territory, marking their territory and seeing if there are any intruders. They can have a mate.
Hunters: the cats who are best skilled in hunting; they hunt for their group and make sure they are well fed. They can fight if needed. They can have a mate.
Trackers: the cats who are best skilled in tracking and stealth. They spy on the enemy, giving information to their leaders. They are gone for a lot of time at once. They can have a mate, but usually choose not to due to their absence.
Trainees: the young cats, six months of age, who are being trained as the rank best suited to them. They can be trained by a leader, deputy, healer, warrior, hunter or tracker. They cannot have a mate.
Queens: the pregnant she-cats, or she-cats with kits. They stay in the nursery with their young for six months, then move back to their previous den. They cannot do usual group duties and usually choose to stay in the camp.
Kits: the cats six months and younger. They are taken care of by the whole group, and cannot leave the camp. They cannot have mates (obviously)
Elders: the old cats, retired, as they are too old to to their duties. They are well respected, and the kits and trainees love to hear their stories. The leader usually seeks their advice when making a large decision.
Btw I got this idea from the book series Warrior Cats, but I decided to add my own twist to it. Let me know what you guys think of it!
